What is FTQ?

First Time Quality or quality from the first moment is an indicator that shows the percentage of compliant versus non-compliant products.

FTQ = conforming units / total units

In this table we see the relationship of this indicator with 6 sigma.

To comply with 6sigma = 3.4 non-conforming parts per million; so FTQ should be 99.999999%
